Parassist Terms of Service.
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Parassist websites, applications, services, and related offerings.
Effective Date: To be set before publication. These terms are a template starting point and should be reviewed by legal counsel before publication.
1. Professional Use
Parassist is designed for professional legal teams, law firms, legal departments, and related organizations. Parassist is not a consumer legal advice service.
2. No Legal Advice by Platform
Parassist provides legal workflow support, document processing, AI-assisted drafting, summarization, extraction, review, and related productivity functions. Parassist does not provide legal advice, does not form an attorney-client relationship, and does not replace attorney review, professional judgment, or legally required supervision.
3. Accounts and Customer Content
Customers are responsible for managing authorized users, roles, access permissions, account security, and compliance with internal policies. As between Parassist and the customer, Customer Content remains owned by the customer or the party designated in the applicable agreement.
4. AI Outputs
AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, unsupported, or unsuitable for a particular legal purpose. Users are responsible for reviewing, verifying, editing, and approving outputs before relying on them or sharing them outside the organization.
5. Acceptable Use
Users may not attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious files, bypass security controls, use the service to provide unauthorized legal advice, misrepresent AI outputs as attorney-reviewed, or upload content they do not have rights or authorization to process.
6. Third-Party Services and Availability
Depending on configuration, Parassist may integrate with third-party infrastructure, storage, communications, AI providers, private model endpoints, or customer-controlled systems. Service commitments may be governed by a separate agreement.
